We will be silent...
The absurdity of the volume of violence and death surrounding the war in Gaza
we see unfolding in front of our eyes bewilders us, and seems to cause our own individual humanity to dissolve. No human can remain indifferent in front of these events and still be called a human. Most people feel paralyzed: what can one person do to make any change, to retrieve some of the humanity that the world seems to have lost in the past two months? Most remain silent. And so this is what we will do, too: a silent vigil. |
